About This Guide

# About This Guide TikLab01 is an independent guide to how TikTok tests and rolls out new features. We explain the testing pipeline behind the app — experiments, staged rollouts, allow lists — and track which features are actually in testing right now. ## What we do Social media is flooded with "new TikTok feature" claims, and a lot of them are wrong or misleading. Some describe limited tests as if everyone has them. Some dress up old features as new. And some are outright bait designed to get you to install a modded APK. We take a verification-led approach: we check claims against what the app actually does, explain the rollout mechanics in plain language, and tell you what you can legitimately do on your own account today. When we don't know something — like exactly when a feature will reach your account — we say so. ## What we don't do - We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok or ByteDance in any way. - We never link to modded APKs, "TikTok Pro" apps, downloader tools, or any unofficial software. - We don't invent products. If a name like "tiklab" shows up in trending searches, we tell you plainly what it actually is — in this case, an unrelated years-old GitHub project, not a banner app. ## Why this site exists TikTok's testing pipeline confuses everyone: features appear and vanish, friends have buttons you don't, and viral videos promise things your app can't do. Understanding *how* TikTok ships features — rather than chasing each rumor — is the calmer, safer way to stay current. That's what this guide is for. Questions or corrections?
